KWIK - LAG is a rubber lagging which can be used both inside and out in a wide range of industrial applications where the maximum operating tension does not exceed 150 pounds per inch of belt width.
It is made is pad sections which are easily cut and installed with self-drilling, self-tapping screws on pulleys from 4" to 16" in diameter. As a result, lagging can usually be installed or replaced without having to remove the pulley.
SLIDE - LAG is designed for use on severe duty applications and on elevator systems. It can be used in conjunction with dual or high horsepower drives, or with steel cable belts. In addition to providing positive drive, it also serves to protect the pulley face and belt cover from damage. The grooved face also provides a self-cleaning action to minimize buildup on the pulley.
Lagging can usually be installed or replaced without having to remove the pulley. Pulley diameters from 6" to 72" can be equipped with Slide-Lag. The pads slide into retainer strips which are either bolted or welded to the pulley face.
