A critical component to belt fabrication is how the belt ends are prepared or made endless prior to shipping and eventually installed. We offer the industry standard preparation types, performed with care and attention to detail in order to ensure that they meet your specific requirements. We utilize the newest technology available when it comes to; ply splitting, skiving, finger cutting and vulcanizing belt ends. This includes a 3 Meter Z-Cutter, Gerber Cutting Table, water cooled grinder with diamond grinding surface for polyamide core skiving, both air-cooled and water-cooled presses and sleeve slitters for matched-set requirements.
Below are examples of the types of preparations and splices we perform. These can be done with various size fingers/laps and on different angles to negotiate tight transfer applications. We also have the ability to provide reinforced splices, high temp resistant and special seams upon request. We have you covered for both hot and cold splice options.
